Columbus



Columbus is the Georgia’s third largest city located in western Georgia on the Chattahoochee River. It is home to the Fort Benning Army Installation and some of Georgia’s mai attractions like Callaway Gardens, Roosevelt’s Little Whitehouse and the Westville Village of 1850 are located here..
The Chattahoochee Riverwalk, a 12 mile path provides residents an excellent opportunity for strolling, jogging, biking and in-line skating. The State Theatre of Georgia, and National Infantry Museum and the Columbus Museum all call Columbus home. It is the original home of the Coca-Cola secret formula and now a regional transportation, trade, cultural, educational, and manufacturing hub.

The climate in Columbus is typical of a Southern city, with hot, humid summers. Temperatures often reach above 90 degrees F in the summer and rarely below freezing in the winter.
